What a weekend!! Quite the eventful two days! =) Normally i wouldn't blog on a weekend cause i'm TOTALLY busy all day and i'm never home until really late so i usually wait until Monday to write about my weekend. But i was so excited with finding a new housemate and all!

Anyway, we had our softball game vs. Trinity, and it was a little disappointing, but hey i'm sure the team played their best and i have to give them that. We have so much more potential, and i'm really lookign forward to the day that we would actually show it. So thanks for a fun game guys and Trinity Sr. I've really been concerned with the committment of the team though. I would really like to see them come out to more than just the games. That is when the real friendships will build, bc during the games, we don't really get to socialize cause we're all focused on the game. I actually would prefer them to come to these things like our ETCBC mixer (which is this saturday for some of u guys who don't remember) more than actual games. I think the playing softball is SO MUCH MORE than just the games every week or so. The fellowship that you have with one another, and the friendships that you build in that one summer is tremendous. Sometimes we don't realize it, but everytime we talk to someone on the team, everytime we cheer and encourage them or even act in a Godly manner, the purpose/mission for CCSA has been attained. We shouldn't always be viewing softball as simply a game or something to do every week, but more of a ministry. Our mission from God is to "Make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." - Matthew 28:19. And i want this to be the goal of the Lions this year, but this comes at a cost. Our time, effort and sometimes even money. But if our actions and sacrifices cause the Kingdom of God to grow, then it's ALL worth it.

Softball aside, congrats to the Lumas on remaining the only undefeated ETCBC team. Really proud of you guys, and I continue to see the friendships grow on that team, and i'm glad that the team was left in such great hands. Good job coaches and governor. =)

But after their game, we went to swiss chalet, and then played a good hour's worth of Hackie Sack in the parking lot, even after swiss chalet has closed. heheh! =) Good times! I'm sorta getting better at the game but i think i still suck at it!! Meh...it takes time and practice right?! Well after that, was when the REAL fun began. I was driving Carter back to Finch, and then i saw Dan, going on the hwy. We started racing a bit for one exit, and exited on Finch. =) We were driving west on Finch, and then i was trying to pass this slow guy, and so i went into the passing lane. But at the same time, this Cavalier did the same thing, but i wasn't going as fast as He'd like and so he started tail-gating me. And i wasn't impressed with that, but i changed out of the lane anyway. we had to stop at a red light anyway, and the guy gave me the evil stare (or the "do you even know how to drive?" stare) so I started getting even more pissed. And then realized that Dan was infront of that car, so that meant that Dan and I were in both lanes. Of course i called him up, told him what happened, and we mutually agreed to piss off that driver. So we took up both lanes, driving 60km/h, and not allowing ANY cars to pass us. The guy started getting SO PISSED and started high beaming Dan, bUt we still went 60. This went on from Leslie all the way to Bayview! hahah!! And then Dan decided to race the guy all the way to Younge, but i got caught behind a really slow car and missed them. But that was GOOD TIMES!!! Yay Dan, we have SO MUCH FUN together!! hahah!! =) And of course, Carter, my car buddy!!! =) YAY! We always have the oddest times in my car together.

That's it for now.....it's payroll day so they have quite a bit of work for me to do, and it's kinda urgent. I wrote this message after i finished all my work too!! =) But more will come in like an hour or so.
